Site 4: Raffles landing site

The reason why i chose Raffles landing site is because it is a historical site. Stamford Raffles was the founder of modern Singapore. The Raffles landing site is denoted of a statue of Sir Stamford Raffles, and is located on the north bank of the Singapore River. The site is located within the civic district, in the downtown core of the central area, Singapore's central district.

He named Rafflesia Rafflesia. Many schools andl clubs and centres were also named after him.
All of these is like a sign to show that we are very grateful to him for our present Singapore.
