The reason why I decided to bring you to Lim Bo Seng memorial is because I want you to know more about him, being a war hero during the Japanese occupation. Lim Bo Seng was addressed as Major- General Lim Bo Seng. The memorial was built in 1954 in the memory of Lim Bo Seng, who led Force 136, he sacrifised a lot for the country, when he was captured by the Japanese soldiers and when they forced him to tell them informations, he refused and was even willing to sacrifice for Singapore. He was indeed someone we should respect greatly.
